Sustainability Efforts

Near Zero Certified

For the last three years, this event has been certified as Near Zero Waste by Recycling Connections, a non-profit organization dedicated to waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting. We thank Bucket Ruckus and local farms for accepting the food scraps from meals at this event to compost locally. We have diverted hundreds of pounds of food waste from the landfill to a local farm for composting. You will find clearly marked bins for refuse and recycling throughout the conference center.

  • Encouraging exhibitors to reduce waste
  • No bottled water
  • Reusable glassware, coffee mugs, silverware, plates
  • Reusable name badge lanyards
  • Reusable poster boards for some signage
  • Full agenda with descriptions available online only (save on printing)
  • Online registration
  • Livestream/Virtual options for select sessions, saving fuel and reducing emissions (view virtual agenda)
  • Encourage carpooling, recycling, using a reusable water bottle, etc. by giving extra points as part of a voluntary networking game
